All Star Talent Show

A 90 minute show, presented by Andi Peters and Myleene Klass, with Julian Clarey as a head judge, The All Star Talent Show aired for a six week run on Channel 5 from 8th September to 13th October 2006.
Each week six celebrities performed a secret talent to the three judges - Julian Clarey and two guest judges including Kerry Katona, Jo Brand and Christopher Biggins. The talent ranged from Rock Drumming to Contemporary Ballet, performing a Majorette routine to Magic Tricks. A VT showing the acts rehersal and preparation was shown before the performance, which was then commented upon by the three judges. The live studio audience would then rate each act on the Clap-O-Meter, which at the end of the show portrayed how popular each act was with the audience. However, it was the public vote which determined which of the six acts won that heat. The five contestants which won each show (Carole Thatcher - Tap Dancing, Roy Walker - Operatic Singing, Jodie Marsh - Ballroom Dancing, Toby Anstis - Street/Jazz Dance and Henry Olonga - Operatic Singing) went on to compete in the final for the public vote, alongside the most popular runner-up from the series (Juliette Foster - Singing). Again, the public vote was used to decided the eventual winner of the series - cricketer Henry Olonga.
30 contestants took part in the series, including two of Myleene's future camp-mates in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! - Malandra Burrows and Toby Anstis, and also guest judge David Gest.
