After running for 7 years, prestigious music television show cd:uk, which was previously presented by Cat Deely, and “Ant and Dec” for most of it’s run, was relaunched on the 17th September 2005 with its brand new format including new titles, a brand new studio, and excellent new presenters: Myleene Klass, Lauren Laverne and Johny Pitts.

Kelly Clarkson’s “Behind These Hazel Eyes” was the first MiTracks Number One. After the relaunch, the show attracted several high profile guests including Girls Aloud, Shakira, and Madonna.

Myleene took on various roles in each of the shows and did a number of 'Spotlight' features, the CD:UK News and of course a number of interviews people artists such as Mariah Carey, East 17, Kym Ryder, Westlife to name a few.

The new format had helped double ratings for the show, with Myleene widely credited for the rise in newspapers. However, cd:uk broadcast its final show on the 18th March 2006, and two follow up “best of cd:uk” shows were shown, the final one on 1st April 2006.
